I cannot save you....
That is the simple truth.

Much as I would try to spare you from the pains you are about to endure,
I can do nothing.

or as long as I cannot control the elements,

I am unable to help you.

But as long as I hold the scepter of Justice in my hands,
As long as I am under oath to denounce biases,

I am useless to your cause.

I cannot violate the Law of Right.

For the sword of consequence is bestowed upon me.

All actions have a certain consequence.
